Children’s Academy

Empower Children’s Academy serves children ages 3–5 throughout Niagara County, providing high-quality preschool programming designed to support each child’s unique developmental journey. We offer special classes for preschoolers with disabilities as well as integrated classroom experiences that foster inclusion and collaboration. Our comprehensive, team-based model ensures that all related services are delivered on site- including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and counseling.

At Empower Children’s Academy, we blend evidence-based practices with innovative instructional strategies and strong family partnerships to nurture independence, communication, confidence, and school readiness- building a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Preschool Special Education Program

2½ hour morning and afternoon sessions operate from 9:00-11:30 AM and 12 – 2:30 PM for private pay.
Full day special classes operate from 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
Lesson plans are developed in line with the NYS Common Core Standards. The cost of the program is covered by New York State for those preschool students who are found to have a disability.
Children with disabilities share classrooms with children without disabilities, to help promote their socialization and communication skills.

Pre-K for Children Without Disabilities

Empower offers a phenomenal Pre-K program for 3-to-5-year-olds without disabilities who are preparing for Kindergarten.

Full-day classes are held Monday through Friday, at just $24 for a full day, or $12 for a half-day. The program operates from September to June, plus a six-week summer session in July and August. We are currently offering in-person learning, in compliance with state guidelines. Our COVID-19 safety plan can be found here.
