Job Training & Day Programs
Assists people with Developmental Disabilities plan for their careers and get jobs in their community. They are able to discover and explore different jobs through paid internships in which they learn new skills.

Program Highlights

Offers paid internships, with potential employment at the conclusion of the internship

Interns typically work between 4 to 12 hours per week, with the length of the internship varying by business.

Interns will receive job coaching assisting them to learn to the job duties the way the employer wants them done.

Interns attend job readiness classes that help them learn work skills, such as time management, customer service, dependability, conflict resolution, flexibility, communication and other skills needed to be successful in the workplace.
Eligibility Requirements

Have a Care Coordinator through OPWDD or start the Front Door process with OPWDD

Possess a Developmental or Intellectual disability
